Hi Rosemary –
Thank you for this e-mail. I have had a couple of internal discussions regarding your concerns about the contract status you outlined below.
At this time, I am able to communicate that the Department is working on the procurement of a Sole Economically Feasible Source contract for continued provision of your services being provided under the terms and conditions of the current contract between the State of Illinois and Maximus Health Services, Inc. The intent is to have this in place when the current contract expires. Lastly, the term of this Sole Economically Feasible Source contract would be for up to 1 year while the Department is working to procure a vendor through the competitive bidding process.
